Balance & Alignment
To avoid vibration or shaking of the vehicle when a tire rotates, the tire must be properly balanced. This balance is achieved by positioning weights on the wheel to counterbalance heavy spots on the wheel-and-tire assembly.
A wheel alignment adjusts the angles of the wheels so that they are positioned correctly relative to the vehicle's frame. This adjustment maximizes the life of your tires and prevents your car from veering to the right or left when driving on a straight, level road.
Let our qualified technicians here at California Tire Co. perform your balance & alignment maintenance.
A plug by itself is not an acceptable repair. The proper repair of a punctured tire requires a plug for the hole and a patch for the area inside the tire that surrounds the puncture hole. The repair material used - for example, a "combination patch and plug" repair - must seal the inner liner and fill the injury to be considered a permanent repair.
Punctures through the tread can be repaired if they are not too large, but punctures to the sidewall should not be repaired.
Tires must be removed from the rim to be properly inspected before being plugged and patched.
Let our qualified technicians hare at California Tire Co. inspect and repair your punctured tires.
Rotating tires from front to back and from side to side can reduce irregular wear (for vehicles that have tires that are all the same size). Visit California Tire Co. for information on how frequently the tires on your vehicle should be rotated and the best pattern for rotation.
To maintain tire safety, purchase new tires that are the same size as the vehicle's original tires or another size recommended by the manufacturer. Look at the tire information placard, the owner's manual, or the sidewall of the tire you are replacing to find this information. If you have any doubt about the correct size to choose, consult the professional technicians at California Tire Co..
The tire tread provides the gripping action and traction that prevent your vehicle from slipping or sliding, especially when the road is wet or icy. In general, tires are not safe and should be replaced when the tread is worn down to 1/16 of an inch. Tires have built-in tread wear indicators that let you know when it is time to replace your tires.
These indicators are raised sections spaced intermittently in the bottom of the tread grooves. When they appear "even" with the outside of the tread, it is time to replace your tires.
Another method for checking tread depth is to place a penny in the tread with Lincoln's head upside down and facing you. If you can see the top of Lincoln's head, you are ready for new tires.

Balance & Alignment
#1 choice for tires and service! I've been a tire & brakes customer for over 25 years. Now, they also provide full mechanic service as well. Took my Toyota in for a big service and they SAVED me $1500 (50%) over the quoted dealership price! I highly recommend their quality service and superb pricing!
Always takes care of my vehicle and a great crew of workers.
Excellent service. Good prices.
There really friendly and very nice people...Thank you
This is the only place I will go for tires! My father & uncle have been going here for tires for almost 30 years! I have for almost 20! These guys go above & beyond to take care of their customers! They do great mechanical work as well! They do much more than just tires!
Superior service, prices and efficiency!!!!
A friend recommended Cal Tire. Great value and service. A highly recommended local repair shop quoted almost double the price for a front and rear brake job. Refreshing to find a repair shop that is consistently fair and honest. I'll be back.
Dean (owner) has been helping me get the right tires for my cars, trucks and trailers for over 20 years. They do spot on work and do it cleanly plus their knowledge of cars and all things that roll is very helpful.
Great car garage! Very friendly staff. David did great helping me with my car issues. It was all done in a timely and efficient manner. It also did not cost me an arm and a leg! They do a lot more than just tires. They have a full auto body garage and great employees that know what they are doing. I definitely recommend this place and will be coming back.
California Tire is a the only place I buy my tires now. Great prices and even better service. I became a BELIEVER in Dean and California Tire after Dean and his team were able to do what many mechanics and the pros couldn't... Properly align my 4x4 Durango. For the 12 years+ since, this is the only place I trust!
Excellent service and friendly staff. I have always been happy with everything that I have Joe take care of. I trust him with all my vehicles and I am always treated like family. I especially like the fact that California Tire Company is a local business. Stop in and see why they have so many loyal customers and great reviews! I highly recommend California Tire Company.
